Am I the only Baby Boomer out here who is widowed and can't seem to find any men my age who are as kind, sensitive, courteous, caring and honest as my spouse of thirty-five years was?  Where have they all disappeared to?  If you make the mistake of joining a dating website, you are taken advantage of by the people who run these sites.  They charge high monthly fees and prey on lonely, vulnerable widowed women and men.  The people they send are rarely of any interest and you do not know their background.  You could be emailing a sexual predator or worse as there are no background checks done.  If you join an adult singles group, the majority of the members are desperate women looking for a husband.  If you attend a church regularly, you are looked at suspiciously by the married women whose husbands are still alive and by their sides.  Where do nice men and women go to find each other? If someone has the answer, I would love to hear it.  Just know that before you respond, I have the ability to do a background check so quacks and charletans need not reply.
